Learn more about Melanie below. ⬇️ ➖ 1-What made you decide to try CrossFit? -CrossFit always intimidated me! I tried it a couple times and wasn’t real sure if it was for me. My dear friend, Addie Hebard, talked me into trying out the new Box in town and spoke highly of the owners and athletes. She wasn’t wrong! Everyone is so inspiring and supportive and it motivates me to keep getting better. 2-What were your first thoughts after your first class? -That wasn’t so bad! I think I can really do this. 3-How has CrossFit changed your life/lifestyle? -CrossFit has changed me physically, mentally and emotionally. I actually feel much healthier! 4-What motivates you during a workout? -Knowing that we are all in this together. 5-Favorite and least favorite movement? -My favorite movement is a toss up between Deadlifts and Power Cleans. My least favorite is anything gymnastics! 6-Favorite indulge meal? -Jaliscos! 7-Biggest accomplishment in CrossFit so far? -My biggest accomplishment so far is the strength I have gained in my upper body. Someday I will Rx a pull up! 8-What advice would you give to someone just starting or considering starting CrossFit? -Never say never! Everyone has to start somewhere and confidence is key!
